end session button lock screen hide option

Any chance consider adding option to remove the End Session button on secondary profile lock screen? It has been diving me bananas when trying to get my phone from my pocket accidentally tapping that huge button and losing my session with everything had open i needed. We already have emergency press power button and hold power button to shut down phone and put to rest. The on screen button not required. Thanks to you all for hard work!!

gosrox I have exactly the same problem, did you find a way to hide that end session button?

My understanding is that this would still leave end session as an option with the power button long press, but disable the button at the bottom of the lockscreen.

matchboxbananasynergy yes that is exactly what am needed. Uh oh been open over a year.. guess not hold my breath for a Christmas miracle?

scorpy privy2naught Right now there's no way to remove that button if you're using a secondary profile. I recall there's an issue in the issue tracker for making it optional.

Ok, I found a semi-solution. Go to settings/Display/Lock screen and turn off "Tap to check phone", "Lift to check phone" and "Wake screen for notifications".
After this the screen turns on only after pressing pwr button

Hi,

Not wanting to dig this old thread but I also was bitten several times by this dreadful End session button by accidentally pressing on it. No warning, no confirmation, the session is gone! And it a bit painful to scroll down twice to access the session manager and switch again.

It would really be nice to have an option in Settings to disable this button. Ending a session with the Power menu button at least can't be accidental.
