Disconnect app from Play Store

Can't find a direct solution to my issue on the forum.

As everyone I've app installed from apk, some from Play Store and different sources. Anyhow Play Store is always willing to update also those apps that have not been installed via Play Store, resulting in an update error.

I've this issue with modified version of apps like Reddit and Instagram (since I use Instander).
Is there a way to say to Play Store not to monitor updates of specific apps?

Yes, open the app details in Play Store > tap 3 dots in top right > uncheck "Enable auto update" checkbox.

It's already disabled. I update manually the app installed, at least those that can be updated through the PS.
The wrong part is that Play Store is automatically searching updates also for those app not belonging to the PS.

Why are you manually updating apps with the Play Store? You shouldn't need to do that, as it can update apps automatically.

Can't speak for P1EMO, but I do updates manually simply because I like to check change logs before updating.

Exactly this. I've not thousands of apps installed, so for some specific apps I prefer to check the changelog :)

Thanks for the clarification. In this case, I'm not aware of a solution for this within a single user profile. I've removed the Solved tag.
