Error installing googke photos

INSTALL_FAILED_INVALID_APK: Full install must include a base package

I receive this error when trying to install google photos. Also how much privacy am I losing if I let it have network perm to download the editing tools then removing it?

E24 you are installing via adb or anything else or is this error displayed by Aurora? Note that gPhotos is a multi-apk app and you need some apks installed in a session, not one by one

E24 base.apk and the splits for your language and architecture, but Aurora downloads it automatically

I find it strange. I installed Google Photos yesterday for purpose of testing for another thread, the app installed and ran fine even without network.

Has Aurora all needed permissions and are you using session installer? Have you restricted any options in the app? Take a look.

Update I was able to get it installed. Does anything else besides magic editor work?

I would recommend to use Google Play Store rather than Aurora Store. If you continue to use Aurora Store, you might need to switch the device spoofing to your own device so that you install the correct version of the app for your device.

treequell Aurora automatically spoofs the correct device by default. At lest in my case: Pixel 7 Pro

Yes I reinstalled aurora store and was able to install g photos
