Video editing

Hi all I've taken a long video in high quality (about 4gb) and simply want to split it in two or more clips to get it onto a laptop can't seem to find any FDroid apps which can perform such a simple task any ideas? I'm also not too well versed in 'sandboxing' perhaps the answer is to use this and get some google play sizzle to do this job... any advice would be welcome! Cheers

So your goal is to simply get the video on to your laptop? You don't actually need them to be in clips for any particular reason? Am I understanding correctly?

If so, why not use a Send instance (one with a 4+ GB size allowance e.g. https://send.ephemeral.land/ ) or use something like Syncthing.

I used this app, very compact in size with lots of features. It did a good job but I haven't edited large videos on it. No network and no Play Services of course recommended when used.

Hi thanks very much - I went with Syncthing, a bit of a fiddle to set up but I can transfer as much as I like now very easily!

I use inshot without network access. I haven't used it for large videos, but overall it's a fantastic app for video editing.
