Probability to have PIN layout unscrambled

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to tell you about your chances to got your PIN layout (when unlocking your profile with PIN scrambled feature) with digits in good order, it should be very rare.

So here are my maths :

First we have 10 choices (digits between 0-9), we select 1 then we have 9 choices, so 10x9.

We select 2 (because the 2 comes after one on your unlocking screen) so 10x9x8.

We do the same thing for the other digits.

So FINALLY the probability to have your PIN layout with good order with digits with scramble PIN feature is 1/(10x9x8x7x6x5x4x3x2x1) = 2,76x10^-7 = 0,000000276 chances to got your layout PIN in good order.

We can conclude that the PIN feature is a secure feature.

That would be 10! Or 3628800 permutations.

I'm not sure how the scrambled PIN is implemented, but if I were to do so, I would exclude the non-scrambled layout, which would therefore give 10! - 1 permutations.
