After three weeks of calling support, chatting with support, and providing feedback - I got nowhere. Placated and lied to that they were “on it.” So I filed with the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, http://IC3.gov Internet crimes bureau, Costco’s domain provider’s abuse line, their webmaster directly..
Email cmonnie@costco.com reached out to me and at first she beat around the bush about getting this to her tech team. Costco even tried lying to the Better Business Bureau stating that my issue was solved and they don’t k ow what this has to do with the Costco credit card etc etc. anyhow I’m still on with cmonnie@costco and she finally escalated my issue (same issue hundreds of others are apparently having) and she got me verified on her end. However when I click account, nothing happens and I get the same “Costco services unavailable” error and the app asks me to still verify my membership even though under account settings it shows that I am verified. Digital membership doesn’t show up and when I click digital membership below, nothing happens.
I highly suggest everyone email cmonnie@costco.com ( c monnie at Costco com) and inform her that you are also having similar issues. Costco isn’t taking this very serious. The more who reach out we might actually get the app fixed. The website doesn’t work either.
