6jarjar6 https://thehackernews.com/2023/12/new-bluetooth-flaw-let-hackers-take.html Wanted to start a discussion around this vulnerability. Any thoughts? Is this patchable? Thanks, 6jarjar6
other8026 6jarjar6 usually this kind of vulnerability isn't publicized until it's fixed so hacker groups can't take advantage of it. It looks like it was fixed: https://source.android.com/docs/security/bulletin/2023-12-01#system-google-play under CVE-2023-45866. Update to the latest release of GrapheneOS when you can. Right now it's in the beta channel.
raccoondad other8026 Seems to also effect desktop Linux distros, so make sure to update with your package manager everyone!
TrustExecutor Think about how many older devices that could be exploited in e.g a crowded concert, if it's easy to deploy this hack. This is another example of why it is good to use GrapheneOS auto-turnoff Bluetooth feature.
