LazyT I know it doesn't have GPS, but should it work via Wifi/Bluetooth/UWB? Every app I tried isn't able to get the location?
treequell The only way to fetch location with the Pixel Tablet is by installing sandboxed Google Play Services, and routing location requests via Google Play Services. For instructions, please see: https://grapheneos.org/usage#sandboxed-google-play-configuration
LazyT Reroute off, works now in Vanadium on google maps, but still not in organic maps or weather apps. Thanks for the hint!
GrapheneOS LazyT Some apps have different variants for the Play Store and elsewhere, The Play Store variant of Organic Maps supports using Play services for location.
treequell There's a toggle in the settings of Organic Maps for the app to allow you to get location via Google Play Services. Not sure if the toggle has to be enabled also, haven't tested it.
Mr_Black When I connect an external bluetooth GPS to a tablet with Google stock and use the app GPS Connector as the mock location app in developers options all work fine. But when I do the exact same settings/ apps on GOS tablet it does not work. What is missing in Gos?
