[deleted] Not sure about the reason of "Sensors" permission. What apps need it? apps that access sensors like NFC or Location or what? Thanks
GrapheneOS [deleted] Location is a standard permission and sensors isn't connected to it. Sensors gives access to compass, accelerometers, gyroscopes, compass / magnetic data, proximity sensor, etc. It's not needed to handle screen rotation events from the OS.
Overlay1404 [deleted] my creepy auto insurance app that wont work unless literally every permission is given
treequell [deleted] I give my Camera app the sensors permission, otherwise landscape photos I take do not get rotated correctly in my Gallery app.
Titan_M2 Maps app need sensor to use the compass. Games for gyroscope and accelerometer to use phone as steering wheel. NFC is not a sensor afaik and it has a specific permission for that.
