System RAM usage in Android 13

I have an Android 13 phone with 8 gb of ram and the system usually takes up 3.5gb of ram on average . It sometimes even goes upto 4gb , and also drops to 2.5gb in some rare instances. I just wanted to know if this is normal behaviour.
Note, that I always have 2.5 to 3 gb free at any time with the above system ram usage .

Does Android system usage more ram based on the amount of available internal ram . I've noticed this trend where the amount of ram the system uses is directly proportional to the amount of available ram . Like for example I came across this forum where a user had informed us that the a13 system was usually anywhere between 6gb or less in their 12gb ram smartphone.
Just wanted to get more insight on this matter.

SirNiksALot Having tons of unused RAM isn't a good thing. It makes sense that the system would use the RAM wisely for smooth user experience. Leaving only a few GBs free makes sense so that when an app is launched, the phone just loads it. If all the RAM was used up, then launching an app would take longer while the system figures out what data to drop or move out of RAM.
