"System Profile" / "Modes and Routines"?

I have an Android head unit in my car, without internet connectivity. When my old phone (Galaxy S9+, /e/OS 1.17) connects to the head unit via bluetooth, a System Profile runs which turns on the Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot and turns off Wi-Fi. When the bluetooth disconnects, Wi-Fi comes back on and the hotspot turns off.

I've seen a similar facility called "Modes and Routines" on another Samsung device.

Is there a similar feature in GrapheneOS?

So, in GrapheneOS, there isn't exactly a feature called "Modes and Routines" like in Samsung devices. But you can create similar actions using apps or automation tools available. It might need some setting up, but you can make stuff happen automatically when certain things like Bluetooth connections occur.

The feature you're talking about in e/OS is inherited from Lineage, so there's potential for porting it but these kinds of UX things are often avoided in GOS to reduce the attack surface. Like Nowediff said, you can do pretty much the same thing with apps like Tasker though.
