Transitioning to a pixel 6a degoogled from an iphone 14. Is there any quick way to get all my contacts? I’m guessing no, but just thought I’d ask.

ssemenick Hi and welcome. It is a straight forward process that does not require any third party apps.

To export all your contacts as in a single .vcf (vCard) file you need to login to your iCloud, go to your Contacts then tap the Actions button in the sidebar, choose Select All Contacts.
Tap the share button on the right and select export vCard.

Once you transfer that on your GrapheneOS device, open the Contacts app > Menu (top left) > Settings > Import > .vcf file

Many of our end users have migrated to GrapheneOS from iOS and had similar questions. Our forum has a search feature and it comes in handy for finding already answered FAQs related to iOS as well.

It is quite possible. Use this app to share your contacts (.vcf file) to your own Email address, Open your preffered Email app (Or Install one if you haven't already), Download the .vcf file and Import it into the Contacts app.

The OP may not have wanted to use iCloud for privacy reasons, that's why I suggested the third-party app method :)

I would suggest a digital minimalism approach. Only copy the contacts manually that are important and you use on everyday basis. Add other contacts as and when you need them. You would be surprised by how much your social circle shrinks and just how many things are unimportant to your successfull function. You can take the same approach to using apps, you can replace them by using web based services if possible, unless you miss the distraction of notifications or rely on important updates from contacts or apps. Your actions should be proactive rather than reactive. Good luck with GrapheneOS. I hope you will find its beauty and stick with.

[deleted] Just because you can't find it on Google doesn't mean it's not possible. In fact, it is:

1) Open Contacts
2) Tap Lists
3) Press and hold on All Contacts (iPhone)
4) Tap Export
5) Tap Done

The share sheet will pop up and you can send the .vcf however you want.
