I really don't see the benefit of using LoRa as an alternative to internet in your circumstances. You refer to using LoRa for security reasons, but anyone with a LoRa receiver can potentially eavesdrop on your messages. This means that in order for LoRa to be secure, you would have to implement some strong form of encryption, which you could do over the internet as well, but without the need for the added physical radio transceivers.
In fact, even with very strong encryption, LoRa has the potential to leak more information than what you could achieve by using the internet. In particular, your PHYSICAL location can be ascertained through triangulation. This is something that you could avoid on the internet by using something like TOR.
