Hello everyone, I have been using GrapheneOS without the Play services for about a year now.
However, due to the photo quality, I have been using the original Google Camera app.
Now, I am slowly reaching a point where I can no longer manage without the Play services, and I miss the convenience in everyday life. Additionally, I cannot use some apps effectively without the Play services.
The question I am now asking myself is: Do all Google apps run in a shared sandbox, allowing them to exchange all data with each other, or does each Google app run in a separate sandbox, and can I prevent data exchange between them even with the Play services installed? I am concerned that my data from the Google Camera may be passed on to Google Play services when I install the Play services. Additionally, I assume that all apps accessing the Play services will also transmit data to Google. Furthermore, various apps request the activation of native code debugging. I would appreciate it if someone could enlighten me on this matter. Best regards from Berlin
