Hello Everyone
I am not tech-savvy and am buying a Pixel 7* for the sole purpose of installing GrapheneOS. I am scared it wont work and I’ll be stuck with an expensive phone with no use.
What is the issue, when people can’t get it to work?
I am running Windows 10 (version 22H2), Microsoft Edge (Version 119.0.2151.72 (Officielt build) (64-bit)) and will be using the official USB-C→USB-C cable, that the phone came with.
The PC has 237 GB and 177 free GB and will be online using a RJ45-cable. Everything, but a USB-mouse and charger, will be removed.
Would it be necessary to download a bunch of drivers etc.? I have watched different videos on YouTube, where they don’t have to download anything, so I am not sure what is the protocol.
Is there a way to install the fastboot beforehand and therefore know the installation will be successful?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
