Nova Launcher

Hello,
I'm using Nova Launcher since eons, but I'm stuck at version 7.0.57 that's last version before app buy by Branch.
Anyone has updated to version 8.0.X? Is sure if I disable Network or Launcher apps can access to Network using another via (like Webview) even if Network is disabled at app settings (but enabled globally).

With network access disabled It cant use webview.
It could potentially use IPC (Inter Process Communication) to talk to other apps. But that app has to know to "listen" for nova IPC. It could theoretically also talk to Google Play (if installed and present).

running Nova Launcher v8.0.8 on a pixel 8 with no issues whatsoever.
Launcher has only "Contacts" persmission --> enables global contact search on the phone.
no other permissions required in order to run properly.

note: Nova Launcher 8.* is still in BETA, don't know why though
so, you have to download it from here: https://novalauncher.com/beta and install it manually
