AlanZ I could not find information on the subject, but this is one reason I am seriously considering a move to iOS (although I would still donate to GOS). The cellular modem in Pixels so far has been a POS.
flighty_sloth AlanZ It appears the pixel 7 uses "Samsung 5300g", while the pixel 8 uses "Samsung 5300i". So a newer version. Hard to say how much if any improvement was made as I haven't tried an 8 yet. But I never actually had any connectivity issues with my 6 either.
