But if that's so then how come google has not mentioned whatsoever about a mediaDRM module in the platform? It just makes no sense!
Also i believe the mediaDRM is present on other platforms like PCs as well and there is no room outside the os for it there. On desktop widevine is an element of the browser, and it can even be disabled completely in brave for example.
So it makes no sense.
It has to be pulling from some aspect of hardware, but how can it do that if according to both Android AND gos the app sandboxing gives no direct access to hardware? 😵💫
