E24 RCS is still a vendor/carrier proprietary, opaque walled garden, maybe you're worried about metadata, so you'll first want to know whether it's encrypted or not, I haven't read that Google encrypts it in Google Messages, careful, I'm not saying that they do or will do anything malicious.
Look WhatsApp, their E2EE has no value beyond theater and marketing since they use AI and thousands of moderators to analyze "inappropriate" content, there are major differences between products that offer you real security/privacy and others that give you a false sense of security/privacy.
So for my point of view it depends, SMS is an obsolete, non-private and non-secure protocol, but I still use it for certain things, like a message from a deliveryman, from my bank or with some of my contacts for short messages, and I mainly use Molly.
