I am currently using a pixel 4a (using Grapheneos) on a google fi plan. Google requires the google fi app in order to activate your plan on said phone, and that needs sandboxed google play. I need to be signed in with my google account on the google fi app to have SMS working properly. Being signed into google fi has also signed me into google play, with my main google account. (which I dont use anyone) So I have it working, but how private is this?
The only google related apps I have installed are google fi, carrier services (I think this is google, and I might not need it)and google play services. Is there a way to not use these? Or whats to most private setup I can use with these?
Here are their permissions: (I doubt these are the minimum, but is what works for now)
