About Owner Profile and Secondary Profile

Will an app installed/updated on the owner profile do the same for the secondary profile?
I would also like to know if an app installed/updated in a secondary profile will do the same to the owner profile.
I was wondering because I have previously heard that in GrapheneOS, app installations and updates are synchronized between different profiles.
If such synchronization takes place between different profiles, how can I counteract it?

It's not about them being "synchronized," and more about apps are installed "globally" on the phone, but only available to profiles that have installed the app.

For example: if I install an app in profile A, but not in profile B, the app only shows up in profile A. But if profile B installs the app, it now shows up. It's the same app.

If any profile installs a newer version of the app, the app is effectively updated for all profiles (but only visible to profiles that have "installed" it).

Apps installed in the owner profile are available to all other users if you explicitly activate them for a specific profile. You can then, per profile, decide whether or not the user is allowed to update apps. There is another option in the profile manager when it comes to app installs and updates, called Enabled for first party sources. Not sure what it does though.
App data is not shared between profiles, as far as I know.

With the given rules by this forum in the back of my mind, I shall not let others know how annoying it is when people are used to others feeding them, or just being lazy to even read the features on the GrapheneOS website, which should be normal to start with. Then look into the forum, with questions there is like any other search option. Now every time I look at the forum to learn myself with new info given by others, but need to scroll too many times because topics with the same questions day in and day out...

This can be stopped by the forum to divide into chapters. So it is easy for newcomers with a question about notifications to go to the notifications chapter. Like any other forum, this is also the reason why many don't go to Matrix rooms, how to search is not logic.
