I'm thinking of buying it (A lot of money for me. A lot.) It feels weird to buy a google phone, just to delete google services, and then install that stuff again. I don't think Huawei is the only manufacturer to mess with the electronics and services. Maybe i'm paranoid. But is this GrapheneOS really that secure?!

If I install this GrapheneOS and do not like it. Does that brick the phone?

Secure from what? What is your threat model?
The thing is, GrapheneOS makes secure usage of your phone much easier than a typical google account infested spying apparatus.

And no you won't brick the phone. You can easily go back to Stock Android

FlyingRacoon I would prefer a phone with hardware switches. But those available are trash, for what I heard.
In GraphineOS there are "permissions" for GPS etc. But how secure is that? People are looking for me.
