Mobile Tor Browser, unable to turn off location in site settings. Suspicious?

I download Tor Browser from the official Tor website as an apk and then when go through settings it site settings all can be turn off but location can not be. This is sus.

birdofred For me it says "always ask", but I've never had it actually ask me, so I'm assuming it's blocked by some other method.

birdofred checking the code in its repository on GitHub at https://github.com/guardianproject/tor-android, I don't see the app listing the location permission in its manifest. My guess is the option showing up in the app is because it's available in Firefox and it just doesn't work in the Tor Browser.

I have Tor Browser and Location permissions are disabled. They can be toggled on and off and the browser is working.

Edit: I see what you mean. You mean the actual internal app settings menu option under Site Permissions under Settings in app in is broken. The actual android permission is still blocking location access. It seems like a bug in the Tor Browser app.

Edit: I don't see the app requesting location as an option in android settings even. Even If I wanted to enable it the option in grapheneos core app settings is not there. The app is not asking for Location permissions even as an optional feature.
