Hi community. Tom Spark Reviews here. I'm a small Youtuber who covers VPNs and privacy stuff. I've been trying to branch out a bit more to help my audience find new open source projects with good initiatives.
Just wanted to let you know how impressed I've been with GrapheneOS. For years I knew something like this was the answer, but I put it off due to being lazy and hyper focused on other privacy concerns and tools such as VPNs.
My first impressions of using Graphene are really good. It's so nice to have all the bloat stripped away (fuck you samsung app store), and I'm pleasantly surprised how all the good things about my Pixel 6A work exactly the same.
The install process was very easy, and I was very impressed by how the web based installer worked. In fact, it's so intuitive I almost got confused not realizing I could click on the buttons to begin installing Graphene onto the device. Lol!
The longest part was just updating the Pixel to get OEM unlocking working, but after that, it was smooth sailing.
Anyway, just wanted to say keep up the amazing work!
