E-SIM configuration data

Hello,

If i buy the new Pixel 8 and I use the stock os for configure e-sim (no config from grapheneos without google services), and after, I install GraphenOS.

Imagine, I want sell the phone.
If I restore the stock OS, my data are wiped, but what about the configuration of the e-sim ?

I have a doubt because the configuration persists between Stock OS and Grapheneos.
Where the configuration is recorded ?

You can delete an e-SIM easily from the GrapheneOS Settings app, also the stock OS Settings app.

You can either delete the eSIM as follows:

1.) Network & internet >SIMs>(select desired SIM)>Erase SIM
2.) System>Reset options>Erase eSIMs
3.) System>Reset options>Erase all data (factory reset)>check "Erase eSIMs".

If you want to sell the phone, I would choose the third option. Then delete the custom Android Verified Boot key and afterwards install stock OS with the Android Flash Tool. You can find very good instructions here (scroll all the way down to "replacing grapheneos with the stock OS").
