Call recording icon action weird

Today i was on a long call with call recording enabled, i had to share them few information so i kept the call minimized for long time and was looking into the images from aosp gallery app.
After sharing the info i pulled down the call from notifications and i saw the call recording button was not highlighted with white color as it is while call recording is not enabled.
I immediately clicked on the record button, and it started recording from again.
After the call i checked the recordings folder i could see 2 files.
The first file had the call record till i press the record again.
So i feel there is a UI bug for which call recording indication is resetting after the call UI being in background for sometime.
This is not happening on short calls, but again appeared on a longer call.
If anyone else can find the same behavior will create a bug report.

First of all I want to just say that I 100% don't know, I'm just guessing.

But, I would imagine it has to do with the fact that the phone app had moved to the background. Maybe at that point the app could no longer do something, like access the microphone. It might not even be the phone "app" that's using the microphone, it might be the Telephony service (or something).

I personally don't talk on the phone, so I can't say whether the same happens on my phone or not.

I just wish there was a way to remove the RTT button so that the call recording button appears in the 6 icons when on a call instead of having to scroll down on the call screen to get to it.

I've disabled RTT entirely but the stupid button is still there.
