After the Android update 14 my grapehenos bricked....

anyone have any solutions to get us back up and running basically the repair shop is unable to understand. so i'd need a graphene expert to help me out here , i dont want to leave the community im enjoying the use cases but would like some way to repair this without having to go through google and explain this lol... i have a pixel 6 and 7 both bricked in similar ways with update.

graph you will need to provide more information, by bricked do you mean the phone will not power on or that the bootloader fails a signature check/won't boot, and if its 'bricking' at the bootloader are you able to use fastboot to unlock the device (will wipe your data, but that's not really a concern if it won't boot)

My pixel 5a 'bricked' due to what Google told me a battery malfunction and caused my bootloader to glitch and I was not able to send any fastboot commands to it. Google upgraded it for free to a pixel 6a. You can contact them about a repair on the google store

However if you are able to send fastboot commands, just unlock the bootloader

Can you please provide details on what's wrong exactly and what was happening with the phone when the issue cam up? I don't think anyone can help without that detail.

Kottonballs sorry first time on here was generalizing because it seems to be a wide spread issue with update 14 but i've specified more , factory reset result's in failed signature still on 1 and malfunction unresponsive screen on another so im not quite able to do anything and that's since update 14.. 2 weeks ago

ahhhhh oksy idk if it's a battery malfuntction it seems like a software malfuntcion. the bootloader fails a sginature check on one and on another the screen is frozen i was able to reboot but the screen remains frozen. did google give you a hassle about the custom os? and no i cant send fastboot commands to either i get a potential resposne but it lock again to fast for me to enter any commands.

graph potential response? What do you mean? When you send the unlock command via fastboot it should show a menu to let you select the unlock option on the phone itself

Sounds like a bootloader issue however, which is what Google handles with. Not GOS sadly.

Since its a bootloader issues I'm sure they will fix it, they didn't care at all that I had GOS installed, they still paid for it and everything

So I would give them a call and see what happens
