Profile switch removes USB Debug/USB File Transfer Config - Unauthorised on ADB

Hey,

as the title suggests I use this phone to be accessed remotely and lately out of the blue (no updates or anything at least that I'm aware of) Everytime I switch to another profile from the main one, it becomes unauthorised and can only be accessed locally physically - I don't know 100% which usb settings get removed but it becomes unauthorised through adb devices . This was not the case before for months. It's a big issue as I don't physically have access to the device.

Anyone maybe knows how to fix it? So far seems just switching to admin again and/or asking a person who has access to physical device to turn on the file transfer again which it defaults to charging instead

Default usb is setup to File Transfer.

I'm not sure if this is related but your post came up in a search for my problem. I'm also having USB issues where I don't get the File Transfer dialog or the ADB Authorization dialog anymore since a couple of days/weeks. Connecting USB just charges the device. No options or notifications.

My usecase is similar to OP's. When connected to PC directly by USB, with USB set to "File Transfer" in the Owner Profile, Pixel is able to connect to PC and files can be transferred between Pixel and PC. With "File Transfer" enabled however, If i swap to a secondary User Profile, I'm unable to connect Pixel and PC.

I need to securely transfer files from a container on my PC into a User Profile. I understand that I could transfer these files to a USB thumb drive and then use that thumb drive to transfer the files into the User Profile, but that seems clunky.
