Performance issues after latest update

Has anybody else noticed that apps often take much longer to start up and are often frozen for a while during start up? I feel that this is related to the changes in the latest update but I'm not sure if this is something that will just go away or if this is an issue that only I am experiencing.

Did you restart all the apps after you updated? Partial app optimization takes place after your phone reboots from installing update.

All 17 of mine work fine. Nine of them optimized.

While starting up Whatsapp, for example, I often get a black screen with a status bar which is fixed by restarting the app but it comes back after a while. I've tried restarting my phone too.

I've also just had an odd issue with my VPN client, CatboxForAndroid, where it was indicated in the logs that wireguard-go kept segfaulting and exploit protection compatibility didn't help, but restarting my whole phone did. This could just be due to an issue with the app though.

[deleted] I'm not sure if you would have to, but when I experience a black screen when launching an app, I have to restart it again.

Experienced black screen when launching Vanadium right now too, definitely reproducible and not limited to a single application.

grapheneosfan2 It's just that there was a second notification once it has finished recompiling in the background that said something about a second restart, but upon tapping on it it didn't do anything.
