Opinions on Thorium Browser

Hi, there's been some talk about the thorium browser recently, I've first seen it in a Chris Titus video, here's the site: https://thorium.rocks/

I'm not that knowledgeable about browser security, so I wanted to know what you guys think about this project, it seems the dev really knows what he's doing in terms of speed, but is this still secure?
Considering this as a desktop browser (linux or macos mostly), not for graphene which has vanadium already of course. Thanks for your opinions.

It's fast but very lacking in terms of privacy and hardening compared to the alternatives.

As far as i understand Brave and Mull are the best ones on mobile. Imo Brave edges out Mull partially because the chromium sandbox is stronger.

If you need security at all costs use Vanadium, and if you need a good balance between anti fingerprinting, security and privacy enhancements use brave or mull.

It's also worth mentioning that Thorium only updates ~ once a month. It's still on Chrome version 117.

For comparison Vanadium updated to 118 three weeks ago and has had a further 3 updates since then.
