I believe that in order for Google Play Services to use the relative position of Wi-Fi networks around you to calculate location, it first needs networking enabled to download the data about these Wi-Fi networks on the fly as they are discovered. My issue with this is that it would provide Google with information about where you currently are, which in my opinion should not be necessary as programs such as UnifiedNLP used to exist which would download databases about Wi-Fi networks in advance and use that, which would provide a similar solution without ever telling your location to a third party. Is there any possible way to do something similar on GrapheneOS? Thanks.
