Multiplayer games do not connect

I tried it on a new profile, not as Owner after a factory reset.

Based on what you're saying, these multiplayer games should be working. I didn't do anything other than what I said in my last post: just installed Sandboxed Google Play and Google Play Games. The only thing I can think of right now would be for you to try setting up a new profile and see if the games work there.

I have now managed to get CSR 2 running on GOS on my Pixel 7a by removing my SIM card from my old Xiaomi Poco F4 GT and putting it in the Pixel 7a. But unfortunately, CSR 2 still won't run on my Pixel tablet and that really frustrates me. The tablet can only be operated in WLAN and has no SIM slot, I hope they can help me to play CSR 2 and other multiplayer games on the tablet in multiplayer.

I guess it's possible that CSR 2 is checking for a SIM card before allowing multi-player games, but it doesn't seem overwhelmingly likely.

Maybe there is something unusual about your Wi-Fi network? What happens if you try a different Wi-Fi network, maybe at a library?

What happens if you enable the 7a's hotspot and connect the Tablet to it? Do CSR2 multiplayer games work then?

That doesn't sound very plausible, because what would Google do if the majority of its users didn't use SIM-enabled devices or only used Wi-Fi at home?

What should be unusual in my Wi-Fi network? I haven't tried another Wi-Fi network yet, but I can try tomorrow.

I'm a Vodafone customer, the router they supply is absolute garbage because you can't even change the DNS, everything is blocked, so I want to buy a cable Fritzbox soon.

Unfortunately I don't know that because I don't know how to activate or set up the hot spot in the Pixel 7a, I've never done that in general.

Nothing should be unusual about any network. But where we're starting from is that it appears that your Pixel Tablet is encountering trouble that other people are not encountering. I think it's a big clue that your Pixel 7a started being able to play once you switched it onto a cellular network. Thus switching your Tablet to some network other than the one it's on seems like a good experiment to run.

It takes roughly one minute. Settings, Network & Internet, Hotspot & tethering, Wi-Fi hotspot, enable the slider, pick a network name and a password. I recommend that you enable "Turn off hotspot automatically".

It's crazy, I've finally got " UNO " running in Wi-FI mode on my tablet and I've activated the following function

" Exploit protection compatibility mode "

and under " Configure Hardening " both checkboxes were automatically set to on, since then the game finally works on the tablet.

Let's see if this function is also available for CSR 2

I don't know (feel free to try). But the reason why I suggested moving the Tablet to your cellular provider was my suspicion that something about your Wi-Fi router or provider is blocking some game-play functions (earlier other people were asking questions about VPNs and ad blockers -- basically barking up the same tree).

For the moment I suspect that CSR 2 gameplay will work for you on some/many networks, cellular and/or Wi-Fi, that are not your home Wi-Fi network. If so, then rebooting your home router might work, or upgrading its firmware, or complaining to your provider, or replacing it. It's hard to say in advance.

Okay, thanks for the info, unfortunately I don't know if/how a firmware upgrade of the current router's firmware is even possible.
