Original Pixel 1 Install?

I'm aware the Pixel 1 is no longer supported. However, is there an older version of GrapheneOS I can still install on a Pixel 1?

[deleted] DivestOS doesn't sound as good. Isn't there a download/zip for a copy of Pixel 1 GrapheneOS somewhere? I find it absurd that they wouldn't even archive them but just pretend they didn't exist

Part of the problem is that nothing under the "GraphenOS project" was ever released for Pixel 1. You might be able to find something older based on the previous project name, but I can't help you there.

GrapheneOS doesn't keep an archive of legacy releases.

Even if that existed, it would be a horrible idea to use it for practical use, or for a way to preview GrapheneOS.

It is not recommended to use EOL devices in general, but if you have that device and want to use something on it, an OS like DivestOS that at least provides some updates is better than pretty much anything else at this point.

Keeping in mind EOL devices can't provide the same security than newer devices : Between GOS extended support and DivestOS for the same EOL devices, GOS is still better during this extended time for security/privacy ?

Hat Yes, in terms of monthly security patches, they'd be getting pretty much the same, and they'd still be benefitting from GrapheneOS specific enhancements.
