THE BIGGEST problem I'm facing right now is the crashes when switching between profiles, it makes the phone unusable, I have to restart it every time I switch from a different profile to the main one.

yes I'm using the latest stable version, and nothing pops when it crashes, it's more like a very long lag not a crash.

Sergi I stumbled upon a similar fact a second ago and came here to report.
After a reboot using just my main profile, I have had no issues for a day now.
Now having just gone into another profile and back to my main one, with the other in the background, the issue started immediately.
Edit: confirmed for me, disabling background, allowed me to swap back and forth between profiles without issue 👍
x6e I'll try it as having same issue. Annoying though as it's a workaround leading to loss of functionality
Do you have this problem with profiles that have google services installed ?
I get longer times switching profiles if the profile is running with play services ? But I haven't experienced any crashes .
This is a known issue with Android 14 it seems.
Skyway I have Owner and secondary. Only secondary has Google services, but I experience the issue on both profiles.
wuseman This was happening to me before A14 but has only gotten worse since updating to A14 lol
I have a somewhat similar problem. When switching back from the secondary with GPS installed, the main (without GPS) hangs after correctly tapping the pincode. Once it becomes responsive (at least 10-15 seconds), I can open any app but I can't use the navigation gestures using the bottom of the screen.
krysor https://github.com/GrapheneOS/os-issue-tracker/issues/2526 seems potentially relevant.
The problem still persist. I encounter this frequently.
To get the bug try installing a few app updates through e.g. Aurora. Then try to switch to another profile. The switching happens and the text "Starting phone" appears. It just loads and loads and loads until the whole phone reboot and you see the GrapheneOS logo appears.
I know this hurts privacy wise but is there a way to enable analytics?
Edit: I see in the FAQ section on GrapheneOS homepage that:
"By default, GrapheneOS only makes remote connections to GrapheneOS services and the network provided DNS resolvers. There aren't any analytics/telemetry in GrapheneOS. The only information revealed to the GrapheneOS servers are the generic device model (such as Pixel 7 Pro) and OS version which are necessary for obtaining updates"
(Please dont shoot me): Would it be possible to make it possible to send in some analytics? I know it's not favourable in a privacy phone, but in that case make it super hard to activate and give reminders that its activated e.g. every few hours. Maybe this would make fixing bugs more effecient?

00101 I am not sure but such crash could be recorded in system log, Settings > System > View logs. Correct me if I'm mistaken.
Hi i just solved this - seems i got it only when switching from a profile without lock screen to one with: same lockscreen on both profiles fixes it for me!
