Does the DSU Updater work correctly in developer options?

matchboxbananasynergy why not? All I can gather was it was simply gutted for funsies.

I had wanted to utilize it to test stock pixel or other ROMs, but you're telling me I'd have to be on stock ROM & use it for GoS?

That's.... not the worst idea but not quite what I wanted it for. Had planned to use to access stock features as needed and easily come back to GoS with all my data since it's been over 3 years promising a reliable backup tool

As far as I can remember (I might be confusing it with something else, but I don't think so), supporting DSU would require GrapheneOS to whitelist some of Google's keys in the OS, otherwise it won't work.

The feature is unsupported for security reasons and for attack surface reduction.
