Custom clock settings on android 14

If we install the Google clock app and deny it basically everything will we be able to havetge custom fonts and stuff or would that require privileged level integration?

What do you mean by custom fonts? I've seen others with Android phones that have odd or cute fonts, but I've never tried messing with fonts myself. I'm not sure if that's supported on GrapheneOS.

As for the Google Clock app, if you install it and remove all of its permissions, it should work normally as a clock and alarm app I think.

E24 To be honest, I do not know the status of supporting widgets on the lock screen. From what I gather, this is an AOSP feature, so I'd imagine you can do that soon.

Anyway, if/when lockscreen widgets are supported, there's no reason why the Google clock one won't.

other8026 I asked the GRAPHENEOS twitter official account and they said that they'll implement customizable clocks in the future but today it's not a priority compared to the implementation of security features.

Check out the app Lockscreen Widgets. It uses an overlay to show homescreen widgets on the lockscreen. There's a security risk with allowing it that privilege, obviously, but it's an open-source app and you can build it yourself. It doesnt require network permissions either.
