Pixel appearing as new device every morning to router

Hi all,

I recently installed GrapheneOS to my Pixel 7 and have been enjoying it so far. One “issue” (I presume this is technically a feature but I’d prefer for this not to occur in my case) is that every morning it seems to be connecting as if it were a new device to my network, and my router pings out a notification to everyone under the account that a new device joined. Is it possible to disable this behavior? I’m not sure what this would be called so I just don’t really know what to look for under settings…

I wonder if this is related to the privacy settings of your network connection....
Try Per Network randomised MAC?

Someone with more extensive knowledge may confirm.

hi there,
seems that you randomize your MAC address with every connect...
you can configure/disable this function on a 'per WLAN' basis in your WLAN network details - data privacy (randomize per connection, randomize per WLAN or use device MAC)

DaRon Thank you for responding, and the setting you mentioned makes sense in relation to my issue...will try flipping to "per wlan" and see if that fixes it. Again, thank you!
