Delete SeedVault's Huge Backups

The .SeedVaultAndroidBackup folder currently takes up almost 40GB of space on my phone, I've already tried clearing SeedValt's data in app settings.

Deleting the folder in windows brings a not responding/disconnected error and fails to delete it and it is not visible in android file manager.

How can I remove this backup?

In the files application select the 3 dots and 'show hidden files', that will let you see dotfiles

However, I worry about the health of the storage device you are using, it might be failing if windows isn't able to delete it and just errors out

raccoondad I've tried deleting other (non-necessary) folders, it's just that folder that refuses to be deleted or copied. I assumed it was a security feature 😅.
I also forgot to mention that I tried showing hidden files but it doesn't show up which I again thought would be a feature

Deleting seedvaut backups has been problematic at best . when I saved them to USB drives I had to format drive to get the space back .

Update: the folder was deleted after the Android 14 update, not sure if it was because of it, a restart, or it just timed out and removed itself.
