Keep the application open when returning to the main profile

Hello,
Is it possible to open the second profile (profile with no data), run WhatsApp for example and switch to the main profile with WhatsApp still open?
If yes, WhatsApp don't have access to my data of the main profile?

I tested with my old pixel 3 (old version of GOS), it's not possible but with the last version?

If you don't close the session then if I am not mistaken the application stays running in the background

All profiles are contained, apps can only see user data of that profile. All profiles use different encryption keys as well.

You won't receive notifications if you switch users however
