[deleted] You don't have to enable any of these toggles if you update the apps from another user profile. Updating an app on one profile updates it on all other profiles where it is installed, no matter what.
These toggles only control app installations/updates from within that specific user profile. So, for example, if you want to install or update apps from any source (F-Droid, Github, Play Store, GapheneOS Apps) directly from a profile, you would need to enable App installs and updates for that profile. If you want to update GapheneOS apps such as Vanadium directly from a user profile but disable it for Play Store or F-Droid, you would need to enable App installs and updates for first party sources for that profile. You can turn off all these toggles for a user profile if all the apps installed in it get updates from a different user profile (such as the Owner profile in your case).
