Use an OTP for all profiles

Hello,

I'll get a Pixel phone soon and install GOS for the first time, I red a lot of things about it.

What I want to know is if that's possible to create a profile for authentificator apps (Keepass, aegis, etc.), copy a password I need to use in order to login on app), switch on ANOTHER profile, and paste my password that I copied from my previous profile ?

Or is it a better idea (I mean more secure) to have the OTP apps on every profile ? Also IS it possible to disable copy/paste feature from one profile to an other.

No, your clipboard won't carry over from one user profile to the next and that's a good thing. Personally I use a locally stored PW manager DB in each profile which contains the PW's I need for that profile.

Bumwin3 Thanks ! If I donwload Google Messages instead of GOS SMS app and I revoke all permisions from Google Messages, this will be more secure thanks to RCS protocol ?

IksNorTen I believe it needs google services to use RCS .

IksNorTen I can't speak to google messages. I don't use it or know much about it. Skyway is likely right though.

I personally use YubiKeys for this and I have the app installed on every profile. This is imo the easiest way (and probably also a quite secure one) because the important data is never saved on your device/profile and stays on your YubiKey. You can of course use another hardware authentication device besides YubiKey.
