xiriald Apps have been refreshing every time I open them today. I'm not closing them, just keeping swiping out. Only ever have 3-4 open at the same time. What's the fix for this? E.g. I'll open Newpipe, then Libretube, Newpipe again but it'll refresh.
[deleted] xiriald do you have by any chance Battery Saver in Battery settings toggled on? That may be one possible cause. Or have you by any chance played with Background process limit and/or Don't keep activities in Developer settings?
xiriald [deleted] No (happens while charging too) and no. I did just check those settings though. Background process limit is on standard, Don't keep activities is off.
[deleted] xiriald can you please describe the process how you switch between apps? Do you use Recent apps screen to switch between them or swiping up on home button (gesture pill) or do you back out by swiping on the right edge of the screen? Or anything else that could help identify your issue. I believe this is not a normal behaviour.
GrapheneLover Usually it means something is tying up your RAM try to force stop any heavy apps while not in use, you can also clear some of your apps cache as it may be that as well when they get too big, either that or your are using too much storage. I've had this happen to me before and was able to fix it following the steps above.
Hmmbrd same here, Pixel 6, since about one week. RAM usage is on 20%, Battery Saver Disabled. Some Apps don't even remember the last input when switching between screens in the same app. Any sugestions what's possibly wrong?
yore Does this happen with all apps? Try setting battery settings to Unrestricted and see if anything changes. For me, this only happens when switching between profiles.
Hmmbrd Hi, sorry for the late reply, I forgot this forum. Battery Manager was always disabled and still is. Problems havent solved in the last weeks... I get a new phone, migrate that and then i try a complete new installation on the old one.
Hmmbrd Just for you all to know: Everything works fine since the Weekend without setting up the phone completely. Had a bunch of app-updates than, one of these fixed it, don't know which, sorry.
Hmmbrd Problem is back, App-Update of any App I don't know. Forgot to switch on the Log on FDroid. Changed that now. Hope, things will change again. I keep you informed...
Eagle_Owl Hmmbrd Hi Hmmbrd, I recommend to use BatteryBot Pro by Darshan Rivka Whittle to monitor the energy consumption. I use it since day one of the stable version (December 2010). Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
