  • End Session toggle persists to the Owner profile lock screen

This is an old issue which I thought of mentioning. Upon pressing "End Session" on the user profile being used, the End Session button shows again on the Owner lock screen. It does not go away until you press it and the screen blacks out for a second when pressing it.

Sometimes it does not have any text in the button and is a small oval button instead but it behaves the same. I doubt this is intended because once you press End Session on the Owner profile, if you open a profile again and press End Session there, that button (sometimes) does not reappear on the Owner profile.

If it makes any difference I'm using a Pixel 7 Pro and this issue has existed since February (that's when I installed GrapheneOS).

Anyone having the same issue? It's a bit annoying to keep seeing it and having to press it (OCD at play lol)

I daily drive GrapheneOS on a Pixel 7 Pro as well and have not experienced this.

yore Both of these incarnations exist for me on 6a. The latter one (without text) is labeled as an upstream issue on OS issue tracker and the former one I believe I remember seeing mentioned too. Profiles have more than a few funky upstream issues like that if you search around either here or on GitHub.

This occurs for me 90% of the time, I always end up double clicking it and the screen turns black for a second.

[deleted] If you reboot your phone it should appear. It usually goes away after pressing it and stays like that for the duration the phone was kept on.

It takes a few seconds for it to appear on the lock screen.

Nope. I reboot my phone fairly often and haven't seen it.

I am also experiencing this bug (Pixel 6a)
