I used to use Aegis, myself. But ditched it when I realized the redundancy of using it alongside KeePassDX (my pw manager of choice). KPDX stores OTP secrets but has the huge added benefit of "auto-typing" the OTP codes just as it does for the passwords. And - just like with passwords within any KeePass iteration - you never even have to look at the codes, themselves...much less, type them out.
To be clear, neither the insecure clipboard nor autofill service are used. Instead, KeePassDX includes it's "MagiKeyboard" that it automatically switches to upon opening your KP database. From the Github:
"The Magikeyboard is an Android keyboard specially designed to fill in forms securely with the elements of a database entry. This automatic fill mode does not depend on the auto-fill services of the device, and does not share its info with other apps. This is the safest way to fill a form with an entry."

Brilliant.
So, from an app or browser based login screen, my workflow is as follows:
1) Tap the tiny, unobtrusive (and OS native) "keyboard switch" icon that is set to populates anytime a keyboard is active.
2) Magikeyboard is selected and it opens KeePassDX where I use my database unlock method of choice (Biometric, master pw, keyfile are all availabe but fingerprint is secure and fast).
3) Tap the needed pw from my list (you can set it up to pick the correct pw based on app or browser page but I've never bothered). KeePassDX, in turn, now switches back to the app/browser page automatically.
4) MagiKeyboard is ready and you simply hit it's "Login key" and then the "Password key" and then the "OTP key" and each securely auto-typed for you.
Mine is set up to both automatically lock the DB and switch back to my "standard" keyboard of choice (Simple Keyboard..also great) after successful login. That's it!
All of my yapping across four steps there really doesn't do the simplicity and speed of this process justice. Hopefully, I explained it well enough. I highly recommend GOS users play around with the app and see for yourselves if you like it. KeePassDX is easily one of my favorite security tools of all time.
ps - I love you.
