No network on eSim after reboot

Good evening,

I have installed GrapheneOS on my pixel 7. After a few problems, I managed to install my second sim card (eSim).

But every time I reboot the phone, the eSim privileged management toggle goes off and I'm ending up with no network on this sim.

My only solution is to remove the eSim and reinstall it.

For the record, I've installed sandboxed google play, but I haven't given them any permissions except sensors. And I didn't connect to any google account.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?

It might be useful to talk to the developers on Matrix. They might ask you to privately submit specific telemetry from your device.

It's probably not the recommended configuration, no. But I want google to have as little access to my phone as possible.

You'll need to give Google Play Services, Google Play Store, and Google Services Framework the network permission to enable the privileged eSIM management toggle and install your desired eSIM.

After installing the eSIM, you can uninstall Google Play Services and the other two Google apps, and the eSIM will continue to work fine (unless you're using Google Fi).
