Battery usage data on both pixel 6a & 7a shows that 'Phone Idle' is running nonstop even when the phone is in active use. It is also consuming most of the power
How is it possible that this is happening when the phone is not idle?
What processes could be behind it?
Could it be a malware operating in the background?
In my case apps that need background access are represented separately.
Booting in safe mode, no change in behavior
Factory reset didn't help it either
and, the problem persists even when Data (no SIM card), GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth, MULTI users etc. are turned OFF
Noticed in the forum people complaining about idle battery drainage issues but couldn't locate posts pointing to the fact that phone is idling all the time i.e. even when in active use.
Does this occur with others too?
