[deleted] I'm looking to buy a new secured-core laptop with Microsoft Pluton for Windows 11. What concerns me is that it seems like most laptop manufacturers haven't committed to firmware and driver lifecycle, which means that over time, these devices may no longer receive security updates or receive them at a very low frequency (quarterly or semi-annually). The only similar commitment I've found is from Microsoft Surface, which offers a 4-year lifecycle. Unfortunately, the Surface Laptop series does not have any secured-core products that support Pluton. Which manufacturers do a better job when it comes to security in terms of drivers and firmware?do you have any suggestion for me? thanks
ifman13 Google pixel tablet with GrapheneOS, or it is possible that the Pixel 8 will incorporate video and audio output via USB-C, so together with a dock to connect it to a display, mouse and keyboard, it will become an all-in-one device.
