Flickering screen 6pro

The latest update came down last night,
And since then I've had a flickering backlight.
Sometimes part of the screen goes dark.

I've restarted in safemode to check it wasn't an app.
Any fixes?

I did a screen recording. And the issue doesn't show up on the screen recording.
So maybe hardware?

It sounds like a hardware issue, but I'd suggest taking to a repair store for a second opinion.

Turns out the phone still had 4 months warranty, so sent it to Google, they confirmed this morning it's a hardware issue and will be repairing for free. Pretty happy with that, especially as I'd bought the phone second hand.

So there you go. Correlation not causation in this case.
