Mute coming on automatically

I've noticed, randomly, I can't figure out a pattern...but if I try send a voice message on telegram, sometimes it's muted. There's no notification except once the voice message is sent, it's blank.

To undo this, I have to make a normal phone call and the mute button is activated. By unmuting on a telephone call, it then sorts it out for everything.

The microphone access toggle is not touched during all of this and still shows as "mic access available"

An update to this! While the mute has been activated randomly it's also been muted for microphone access during video recording

treequell so an UPDATE, not sure if this is what's causing the problem but I have been using magic earth sat nav and using the dash cam video recording without microphone enabled. I then check a phone call and the microphone is muted for phone calls. Wonder if this is the issue? Like microphone muted by other apps ?
