ADB Shell Tools? Package manager?

Greetings All,

I've just installed GrapheneOS for the first time and this is my first post on the group. I could not find a related topic while searching around.

I would like to make the ADB shell more-useful. I can do basic shell operations (list directories, find files, move/copy items), but I don't see how to edit files. There seems to be no 'vi' or any editor. I was able to list 439 programs in the path directories, but none of them look like an editor.

Is there a way to install an editor (or whatever) via some package manager, or simply adding files to a custom bin directory and adding it to the path?

gink It's not generally recommended to use ADB debugging on a daily driver. However, if you're using it on a development device, you can ask about that in the GrapheneOS development chatroom on Matrix. You might be more likely to receive a response there.
